Some new Fujifilm X100VI bodies are arriving with firmware 1.32 pre-installed, even though Fujifilm’s own support pages still list 1.31 as the latest download. In this post I look at what’s actually happening, why your camera might show 1.32, and whether you need to do anything about it.

I bought this Mamiya rangefinder at a Tokyo flea market during a Fujifilm trip in 2016. It's a lovely old thing, but the exact model remains a mystery. Most have a 4.5cm f/2.8 lens — mine has a 4.8cm f/1.9. If you’ve come across this version before, I’d love to hear from you.
