Introducing the Fujifilm Learning Hub

If you’re here, chances are you shoot with a Fujifilm camera—or you're at least curious about them. Either way, I’ve got something I think you’ll find genuinely useful.

Over the past few months, I’ve been quietly building something I’ve wanted to create for a long time: a proper Fujifilm Learning Hub, a kind of home base for people who just want to get better with their Fuji gear—without spending hours trawling forums or watching overly complicated YouTube tutorials.

And, yes, it’s completely FREE.

So... where can I find Fujifilm resources?

This was one of the big questions I kept hearing. People would ask me, “Where can I go to actually learn this stuff?” Not just reviews or spec sheets, but actual guidance. How to use film simulations. What the settings really mean. Tips that come from real-world experience, not just the manual.

So that’s exactly what the Fujifilm Learning Hub is. It’s all hosted right here on my site. Articles, videos, walkthroughs—stuff that’s written for humans, not engineers.

The kind of practical, usable advice I wish I’d had when I first picked up an X-series camera.

If you head to the Fujifilm Learning Hub, you’ll find content on things like:

  • Getting to grips with Fujifilm JPEG recipes

  • Using back button focus properly

  • Understanding things like DR settings, X-RAW Studio, and more

  • And a whole load of tips on shooting techniques, creativity, and... well, whatever else I find myself ranting about.

Its an ongoing resource that will grow over time.

Free Zoom Q&A – 25th September

To go along with the launch, I’m also running a free Zoom Q&A session on Wednesday 25th September.

It’s open to anyone, whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been shooting Fuji for years.

Yes, camera settings are fair game. But so are the broader questions—the ones that come up late at night when you’re wondering what on earth you're doing with your business or what direction to take next.

You might be wondering:

  • “Which film simulation should I actually use?”

  • “What’s the difference between DR400 and DR800?”

  • “How do I customise my Q menu for street photography?”

Or even:

  • “Is it normal to feel stuck after shooting 50 weddings?”

  • “Can you actually make a living from photography these days?”

  • “How did judo end up being part of your routine, and does it help creatively?”

If it works well, I’ll likely run more of these. Less of a webinar, more like a friendly drop-in.

How to Join

To join the Zoom session, just click here to register. That’s it.

And if you can’t make it live? I’ll be recording the session and adding it to the Learning Hub, so you can catch up whenever.

If you've been meaning to take your Fujifilm shooting more seriously—or just want to understand your camera better—this is probably a good place to start. The Hub is growing, slowly but steadily, and it’ll always be free. I’m building it to be something you can actually use, not just glance at once and forget.

Anyway, hope to see you at the Zoom session on the 25th. Bring your questions. Or just sit back and listen in. Either way, you’re very welcome.
