Learn something you’ll actually use.

Perhaps you want to feel more confident photographing people on the street, understand your Fujifilm camera properly, or get to grips with the business side of photography.

My workshops give us time to work on those things together, with practical guidance and room for questions.

I teach from experience: what I use, what has worked for me, and the mistakes worth avoiding.

The aim is for you to leave knowing what to practise or change—not just with a notebook full of ideas.

Before you
book:

  • Different sessions suit different starting points. The Fujifilm beginners course starts with the basics, while street photography workshops assume you know your camera’s basic operation. Each listing explains who the session is for. If you’re unsure, tell me what you photograph and what you’d like help with.

  • Street photography workshops welcome any camera brand. Fujifilm-specific sessions focus on using your own Fujifilm camera. For other workshops and courses, check the individual listing for equipment or software requirements.

  • For practical photography sessions, bring your camera, a charged battery and a memory card. Comfortable footwear and suitable clothing are useful for outdoor workshops. Check your chosen workshop’s details for any additional equipment.

  • Street photography workshops involve moving between locations and spending time photographing outdoors. The route and amount of walking vary. If you have mobility or access requirements, please contact me before booking so we can discuss the particular session.

  • Street photography workshops normally go ahead in ordinary British weather, so come prepared for the conditions. Check the individual workshop page for its weather arrangements, particularly if severe weather or travel disruption is forecast.

  • Please contact me as soon as possible. Cancellation and rescheduling arrangements depend on what you’ve booked, so check the terms for your chosen workshop or mentoring session before purchasing. Please don’t assume that a booking can automatically be refunded or transferred.

  • Yes. Choose “Online Learning” above for courses you can work through at your own pace, or “1-to-1 Mentoring” for individual support. Mentoring includes online sessions and private street photography tuition in person—each listing explains the format and how to arrange your session.

Yesterday I attended Kevin’s street photography workshop in London, and what a brilliant day it was! I’ve learnt loads, but even more importantly I had an absolute blast on the day. Kevin’s a great teacher and was very approachable whenever I had any questions. I left the day feeling inspired to get out and shoot, which is exactly what I’ll be doing this afternoon and over the weekend to put some of the ideas into practice. Thanks again, Kevin!
