Fujifilm Learning Hub

Real-world Fujifilm tips, guides, and training — explained simply, with a bit of honesty and a lot of experience behind the shutter.

Whether you're just getting to grips with your Fujifilm camera or you've been shooting for years and want to refine things, the Fujifilm Learning Hub is here to help.

You’ll find walkthroughs, setup guides, creative exercises, tips that actually make sense in the field, and deeper dives when you're ready for them. Whether you're into street, weddings, travel, or just learning for the fun of it, there’s something here for you — wherever you are on your photography path.

Over the years, I’ve written quite a bit about Fujifilm gear — some of it technical, some more reflective.

What you’ll find below is a hand-picked collection of the more focused, practical pieces: deep dives into settings, feature walkthroughs, and real-world tips based on how I actually use the cameras.

Whether it’s setting up an X100VI, making sense of Lightroom profiles, or just figuring out if P Mode is really all that bad… it’s all here.

I’ve also included a section further down the page with my favourite Fujifilm JPEG Recipes — easy to load, fun to tweak, and built from everyday use.

And if you’d prefer to learn face-to-face, there are a couple of Fujifilm-specific workshops available too.

I’m also running free Zoom Q&A sessions, open to everyone — relaxed, informal, and a good excuse to grab a cuppa (or something stronger) and ask me anything about Fujifilm, weddings, street, or whatever else comes up.

I’ll be adding more over time, and if you find any of it useful, there's also the option to make a small donation to support the work.

If you're after full camera reviews, firmware thoughts, or a few stories from the road, those still live over on my main blog — feel free to head there too.

Fujifilm JPEG Recipes

Fujifilm cameras are made for shooting straight-out-of-camera — and film simulations are half the fun.

Here you’ll find a collection of my go-to JPEG recipes: some built for specific looks, others for certain light or moods.

They’re quick to set up, easy to tweak, and all tested in real-world conditions.

Feel free to use them as-is, or adapt them to suit your own style.

Lightroom Presets

If you shoot RAW and want to speed up your editing — or just give your images that final bit of polish — I’ve created a full set of Lightroom presets that you may like.

They’re subtle, film-inspired, and based on the way I’ve processed thousands of real-world images over the years.

Ideal for weddings, street, or everyday work — especially if you want to keep things clean and timeless.

🍵Free Zoom Meetup – Ask Me Anything

Got a question about Fujifilm gear? Wedding photography? Street shooting? Or just fancy chatting shop with a bunch of like-minded people?

Join me for a FREE, informal Zoom session where I’ll be answering whatever you throw my way — camera settings, editing, gear talk, business stuff, or anything else I can help with.

No slides, no hard sell, just a relaxed hangout.

Bring a cuppa, or a beer if the mood takes you.

The first one kicks off on Thursday 25th September at 7:30pm (UK time).

It’s free to join, but spaces will be limited — and the session will be recorded and may be shared here on the site afterwards, so keep that in mind if you're planning to ask questions.

  • Kevin, your incredible knowledge and grace of giving has been a huge help for me over the years. 10 Years ago it was you that made me choose Fuji and I've learnt so much from you in that time.

    Christine Sommerfield

  • I’ve watched countless YouTube videos, but Kevin’s guides are the first that actually made sense of my Fujifilm settings

    Jamie Charrington

  • I never understood back button focusing until I read the article here. It’s completely changed how I shoot.

    Alex Reynolds

  • The JPEG recipes are brilliant. I’ve got them saved as my Custom Settings and barely need to touch Lightroom now.

About Kevin

I'm Kevin Mullins — a documentary wedding photographer, long-time Fujifilm shooter, and a bit of a menu-tinkerer by nature.

I’ve been photographing weddings for over 15 years, with more than 800 under my belt, and I spent over a decade as an official Fujifilm X-Photographer ambassador.

Along the way, I’ve given talks and training around the world from Buenos Aires to New York and Tokyo — but I still get just as much satisfaction helping someone finally figure out their custom settings on an X100.

This Learning Hub is simply an extension of that: a place to share the real-world stuff that’s made a difference to me, in the hope it helps someone else enjoy their photography a bit more too.
