My Second eBook is Out – Mastering the Fujifilm X-T5 Look

You may know that I recently released my first eBook; Mastering the Fujifilm X100VI Look.

Well, this is my second one.

It’s called Mastering the Fujifilm X-T5 Look, and it’s available now as a direct PDF download from my website.

What’s in the book?

This is more than just a recipe collection—though yes, there are over 50 Fujifilm JPEG recipes inside, all crafted specifically for the X-T5.

Each recipe includes:

  • Full settings: Film Simulation, White Balance, Dynamic Range, Highlight/Shadow Tone, Colour Chrome FX, Grain, Clarity, High ISO NR, and more

  • Before and after examples to show what the final look actually delivers

  • Notes on the Settings to explain the choices behind each configuration

  • A final section called Artistic Reasoning, giving you a sense of when and why you might want to use it

You’ll also find:

  • A Quick Setup Guide to get your camera recipe-ready fast

  • A deep dive into White Balance shifting, DR, and highlight control

  • A walkthrough of X RAW Studio, for those who want JPEG looks with RAW flexibility

  • A chapter-by-chapter explanation of Fujifilm’s built-in Film Simulations

  • And ideas for creating your own looks, once you feel confident to experiment

Why I wrote it

I wanted to make something practical—something you can refer to while you’re out shooting. The X-T5 is compact and powerful, and when it's set up well, the JPEGs it produces are stunning. But getting to that point can take a lot of trial and error.

This book is designed to save you that time. It’s the guide I wish I had when I first got into Fujifilm—and it’s written with both newcomers and seasoned Fuji shooters in mind.

Just the beginning…

This is the second in a series I hope to build over time. I’ll be creating more guides like this—for other cameras, other genres, and other parts of the photographic process. If you enjoy this one, stick around. There’s more to come.

If you do pick it up, I’d love to know what you think. And if you create something with one of the recipes—share it! That’s the whole point, after all.

Note: The recipes in this book are the same as those featured in my X100VI book. If you own both cameras, you don't need to purchase both — the content overlaps.
