Fujifilm X100VI Best Settings

Just picked up a Fujifilm X100VI or X100V? Nice. This is the quick start guide I wish every new owner watched in the first hour, because it gets the camera feeling fast and familiar straight away.

I walk you through the settings I change immediately, and more importantly, why. We’ll set up the function buttons so your most-used options are always under your fingers, then I’ll show you the key menu settings that make day-to-day shooting smoother. No fluff, just the stuff that saves time and stops you getting annoyed with the camera when you should be enjoying it.

I also cover back button focusing, how I set it up, and when it actually helps. It’s one of those things people either swear by or never touch, so I keep it practical rather than turning it into a religion.

Towards the end I show my basic Lightroom approach too, so once you’ve shot your first set of frames you can get them looking the way you want without overcomplicating it.

If you’re into straight-out-of-camera shooting, I’ve also got Fujifilm JPEG recipes on my site.

Discount note: you can get 10% off my Mullins Film Advanced Presets with code YT10.
