Fuji GFX100 II High ISO & Sports Test. Is it a Knock Out?

In this video I take the Fujifilm GFX100 II out for a straightforward test: high ISO performance and autofocus speed in real shooting conditions. Medium format is often talked about like it’s only for slow, controlled work, so I wanted to see how the GFX100 II behaves when you actually push it a bit.

I also spend a little time putting the camera in context with other GFX bodies, because it helps to know what’s genuinely new here and what’s simply the usual medium format trade-off. There’s some studio discussion, then we head into a more practical test including animal detection, followed by a proper high ISO and autofocus run to see what it can do when light levels drop and the subject doesn’t politely stand still.

If you’re considering the GFX100 II for anything beyond calm, tripod-based shooting, this should give you a more honest feel for how quick it is, how confident the focus feels, and how usable the files are as ISO climbs.
