Behind the Lens: How I Captured These Wedding Photos
In this video I walk through images from a recent wedding and talk you through how and why I made them. Not in a “here are my favourite photos” way, more as a practical breakdown of decisions: where I stood, what I was waiting for, what I ignored, and what I took a chance on.
I also talk about Fujifilm autofocus in the context of an actual wedding day. Not lab tests, not menu diving. Just the reality of fast movement, unpredictable moments, and trying to keep things candid without turning the whole day into a technical exercise.
After the image discussion, I show the complete photofilm from the wedding, so you can see the full story as a sequence. It’s a useful way to understand documentary coverage, because a wedding isn’t one hero shot after another - it’s lots of small moments that add up to something bigger.
