Photo Walk: London West End
London West End Photo Walk with Kevin Mullins
Immerse yourself in the stunning sights and street life of London’s West End on a relaxed photo walk led by professional photographer Kevin Mullins.
📆Date: Friday, 26th September 2025
⌚Time: 11:30 - 17:30
📍Location: London West End
🎟️Ticket: £50
With almost two decades of experience behind the camera, Kevin will gently guide you through some of London’s most photographable streets and hidden corners. This isn't a formal workshop – there are no slideshows or structured lessons – just a chance to walk, observe, and photograph with like-minded people who enjoy photography for the love of it.
We’ll start at the iconic Nelson’s Column in Trafalgar Square and loosely wind our way through parts of Soho, Chinatown, and Covent Garden, before finishing near the Thames as the afternoon light softens.
Along the way, Kevin will point out scenes, suggest compositions, and offer quiet ideas on ‘how to see’ rather than what to shoot.
What to Expect:
A gentle guided walk from 11:30am to around 5:30pm
An informal, sociable experience with plenty of time to take photos
A break for lunch (not included) in one of the vibrant areas we pass through
Helpful tips on composition, light, and timing – if you want them
No pressure, no critique – just photography at your own pace
This walk is ideal for photographers of all levels who enjoy wandering with a camera and exploring street life, details, and city textures.
If you're looking for in-depth tuition and practical exercises, Kevin also runs a range of Street Photography Workshops that might suit you better.
Come along, bring your favourite camera, or just your phone, and enjoy a day of thoughtful photography with good company.

Who will be your guide
That would be me – Kevin Mullins.
I’ve been a professional photographer for close to twenty years, specialising in documentary-style work. Weddings, streets, portraits, real life – that’s where I feel most at home with a camera. No fuss, no posing, just honest, observational photography.
Over the years, I’ve shot hundreds of weddings, delivered talks and workshops across the UK and abroad, and worked closely with Fujifilm along the way. But these photo walks aren’t about credentials. They’re about slowing down, looking around, and enjoying photography in its simplest form.
I won’t be barking instructions or asking anyone to chase pigeons in Trafalgar Square. I’ll just be there to guide the route, offer suggestions if you want them, and share in the simple joy of walking with a camera in hand.
If you’ve got a question, ask. If you’d rather just walk and shoot, that’s fine too.
What kit do you need?
Honestly? Whatever you’re comfortable with.
This walk isn’t about having the biggest lens or the latest tech — it’s about noticing what’s around you and choosing when to raise the camera. Some people bring their trusted DSLR, others prefer something smaller and lighter. A few just use their phones — and that’s absolutely fine too.
There’s no right or wrong here. You won’t be asked to change settings on the fly or navigate complicated menus. That said, if you’re shooting with a Fujifilm camera, I do know the system inside out, so I’ll be happy to help with any questions if they come up.
Just make sure your batteries are charged, your memory cards are empty(ish), and your shoes are comfortable.
Everything else is optional.
First Aid
Your safety on the walk is always a priority.
I’m a qualified coach with the British Judo Association, which means I’m required to keep my First Aid certification up to date — and I do.
Of course, if you have any medical needs or concerns of your own, feel free to let me know privately before we start the day.
Terms and Conditions for Kevin Mullins Photo Walks
1. Event Confirmation and Minimum Attendance
Once you’ve booked your place on a Photo Walk, you’ll receive a confirmation email. This confirms your spot on the walk.
Each Photo Walk requires a minimum of six participants to go ahead.
If fewer than six people are booked, I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the event. If this happens, you’ll be notified as early as possible, and offered the choice of a full refund or a transfer to another date.
Participants must be aged 18 or over.
2. Weather Conditions
The walks will go ahead in most weather conditions – a bit of rain or cloud can make for great photos. However, if there’s a serious weather warning or it becomes unsafe to run the walk, I may need to cancel or reschedule.
If that happens, you’ll be contacted as soon as possible and offered a full refund or the option to join a future walk.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling by Kevin Mullins
If I need to cancel or reschedule due to low numbers or adverse weather, you can choose to move your booking to another walk or request a full refund.
I won’t be able to cover any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by participants due to cancellation or rescheduling.
4. Cancellations by You
If you need to cancel, please let me know at least 10 working days before the walk, and I’ll refund your place in full.
Cancellations made with less than 10 working days’ notice are non-refundable, as it’s often too short notice to fill the space.
5. Communication
I’ll use the contact details you provide when booking to get in touch about any updates, changes, or cancellations. Please double-check your email address when you book, and feel free to reach out if anything changes on your end.
By booking a Photo Walk with Kevin Mullins, you agree to the terms above. These may be updated occasionally, and any changes affecting your booking will be communicated in good time.
