My Ambassador Status with Fujifilm is Ending & Some GFX100S Recent Shots
Why I will no longer be a Fujifilm Ambassador
Me giving a talk at Photokina, Cologne
My time as a Fujifilm Ambassador is ending (sadly). But I’ll still be waving the Fujifilm flag.
As many of you will know, Fujifilm UK is changing their ambassador programme, and I will no longer be an X-Photographer soon. I'll be an ex-X-Photographer :-).
I fully understand their decision, though I'm sad about it. However, I've had many questions regarding this, primarily around whether I will continue to use Fujifilm cameras for my Wedding Photography Work. And the answer is an unequivocal yes! I've always maintained that I use Fujifilm equipment because they are the best for me and my business, not because I'm an ambassador.
I've been a Fujifilm Ambassador for ten years or so and was, in fact, the first Wedding Photography ambassador in the scheme.
I've had extraordinary times with them, and I feel very proud that I've been part of some of the design decisions on several of the cameras.
Ever wondered why the view mode button was on the EVF hump on the X-T range? :-)
Have you ever wondered who spent several hours in the middle of the night going over and testing the problematic v2 firmware? )
All good things come to an end. I'm very much grateful to Fujifilm UK and the team in Tokyo for their support over the years, though I do, of course, wish it wasn't the end.
I hope to have a strong symbiotic relationship with Fujifilm going forward, but I'm not one of those who will suddenly throw my toys out of the pram and jump ship. I'll still be waving the Fujifilm flag as long as they keep producing great gear that I enjoy using (like the new Fujifilm XH2S, for example).
Fujifilm GFX100S Sample Images
Long term readers of this blog will know that I purchased the original GFX100 - and I loved it. I would never consider it for my documentary wedding photography style, but I had specific commercial photography projects lined up that were perfect for that camera.
However, the pandemic hit, and those projects never got off the ground.
The GFX100 became an expensive luxury item. And whilst I was claiming bounce back loans from the government to keep my family fed, the camera had to go.
After that, of course, came the GFX100S. Smaller (perhaps better?), cheaper and very much as capable. So in I went.
My plan for this camera is still not Weddings. I shoot way too quickly for the medium format sensors. However, it has been working on commercial jobs, and I’ve recently set up studio space here in Malmesbury that I want to explore more.
At the moment, I’m still taking sample shots to get the look, style and lighting right. I thought I’d share some with you.
All photographs are edited in one click with my Lightroom Profiles and Presets.
Much Love, Kevin.

A complete foundational Film Edition bundle for Lightroom
Film Edition 1 & 2 Bundle brings together the first two Kevin Mullins Film Edition Lightroom preset collections, giving you the foundational packs that started my film-inspired editing range. It includes a mix of black-and-white looks, colour film styles, profile-based processes, Legends presets, utilities, and noise-reduction tools.
This is not a bundle of random slider-based presets. Both packs are built around carefully crafted, profile-based processes designed to give your images a more natural, film-inspired starting point in Lightroom. Film Edition 1 leans into subtle black-and-white film emulation with bonus colour looks, while Film Edition 2 expands the system with a broader set of colour and monochrome profiles, plus the first Legends presets.
If you want a simple, lower-cost way into the Kevin Mullins Presets range, this bundle is a good starting point. It does not include the newer Film Edition 3, 4, or 5 packs, nor the later AI-powered utilities, but it does give you the original profile-led film workflow that the later collections grew from.
