A Family Photoshoot with the Fujifilm X-H2S

Fujifilm X-H2S

The Fujifilm X-H2S has incredible focus acquisition and speed.

I'm currently on my annual sabbatical to Andalusia, Spain. However, whilst I sit here this morning watching the sunrise, I thought I'd share with you a recent family photoshoot I did with a past wedding client.

I'll let the images speak for themselves. Still, needless to say, as you can read in my mini Fujifilm X-H2S Review - I remain incredibly impressed with the functionality of the newest camera from Fujifilm.

You'll see the photofilm first, then some stills.

Fujifilm X-H2S - Selected Stills

I've used the X-H2S at a few jobs now, and as I mentioned, it has a phenomenal focus speed and accuracy.

There are still ergonomic issues that I don't like. For example, no way of changing ISO on a command dial and the removal of a focus switch lever I feel is a mistake too.

However, I'm adapting and feel the camera's functionality overcomes my useability issues.

Needless to say, though, when I came away to Spain, I only brought my Fujifilm X100V.

This is my last few months as an official Fujifilm Ambassador (not my choice!). My loyalty to the brand will remain, but you may notice some changes on this website. Notably, more content, primarily educational and I hope you will enjoy the journey as I develop f16.click beyond my ambassadorial days.

Film Edition 1 & 2 Bundle Lightroom Presets
£15.00

A complete foundational Film Edition bundle for Lightroom

Film Edition 1 & 2 Bundle brings together the first two Kevin Mullins Film Edition Lightroom preset collections, giving you the foundational packs that started my film-inspired editing range. It includes a mix of black-and-white looks, colour film styles, profile-based processes, Legends presets, utilities, and noise-reduction tools.

This is not a bundle of random slider-based presets. Both packs are built around carefully crafted, profile-based processes designed to give your images a more natural, film-inspired starting point in Lightroom. Film Edition 1 leans into subtle black-and-white film emulation with bonus colour looks, while Film Edition 2 expands the system with a broader set of colour and monochrome profiles, plus the first Legends presets.

If you want a simple, lower-cost way into the Kevin Mullins Presets range, this bundle is a good starting point. It does not include the newer Film Edition 3, 4, or 5 packs, nor the later AI-powered utilities, but it does give you the original profile-led film workflow that the later collections grew from.
