All The Smiles

Why I Love This Wedding Photograph

This post is part of my Why I Love this Wedding Picture series, where I describe why I, as the photographer, love a particular image or series of photographs.

Black and White Wedding Photography

In this episode of “Why I Love this Wedding Photograph”, I’m taking us back to the Town Hall, Bethnal Green Wedding of Andreas and Tia.

As the first-ever Wedding Photographer ambassador for Fujifilm Global, it was an honour and a privilege to be asked by Andreas, the marketing manager for Fujifilm UK, to photograph his wedding.

It was an intimate but wonderfully relaxed wedding at the Town Hall, Bethnal Green.

Bethnal Green Town Hall is a historic building located in the vibrant borough of Tower Hamlets in East London. The town hall is famous for its architectural beauty, elegance, wedding ceremonies, and receptions. The venue offers a range of versatile spaces, accommodating intimate gatherings and larger celebrations. With its rich history and enchanting ambience, Bethnal Green Town Hall provides a memorable setting for unforgettable weddings.

I particularly love these five wedding photographs as they summarise the day entirely, from Tia with her maids in the morning and the loving friends throughout the ceremony to the laughter and emotion at the wedding breakfast.

As a Documentary Wedding photographer, I shoot 100% candidly, and moments such as the friends watching during the ceremony are ones that I thrive on. I love how the lady rests her head on her husband’s shoulder; perhaps she remembers her wedding day or just enjoys the moment that Tia and Andreas said, “I do”.

I Love these Wedding Photos and I hope you do too.
