How I Create my Photo Slideshows for Clients

In this film I show you exactly how I create photo slideshows for clients using Adobe Premiere Pro. It’s a straightforward, repeatable workflow that focuses on pacing, music, and keeping the story moving without turning it into a complicated editing project.

I start with how I source music and what I listen for when I’m choosing a track, because the music sets the entire rhythm of the slideshow. Then I go into the practical build: how I organise the images, how I lay them into Premiere Pro, and how I time everything so the slideshow feels intentional rather than random.

If you don’t use Premiere Pro, the same approach still applies. You can get very similar results with simpler tools like Premiere Elements, iMovie, or Windows Movie Maker. The buttons are different, but the thinking is the same: pick the right music, edit to the beat and mood, and keep the sequence telling a story.

By the end, you’ll have a clear process you can copy for weddings, family shoots, commercial work, or any set of images where you want to deliver something more emotional than a gallery link.
