The Secret Kiss

Why I Love This Wedding Photo

This post is part of my Why I Love this Wedding Picture series, where I describe why I, as the photographer, love a particular image or series of photographs.

Pete & Jeanie share a Secret Kiss

For this edition of my Why I Love this Wedding Photo series, I’m sharing a few from the Wedding of Pete & Jeanie at Lambeth Palace from a few years back.

This Wedding was photographed at Lambeth Palace, and Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, signed the register.

What I love about this photo is the connection between Pete and Jeanie, just as the formal work is going on.

Pete is a multi-Olympic Gold Medalist who, after a severe spinal stroke, is now raising awareness for people with disabilities and is currently working with Transport for London to make road crossings more accessible.

I’ve also included a few more of my favourites from this lovely wedding, but you can see the full blog post of their wedding if you wish.

I Love this Wedding Photo, and I hope you do too.
