First Images with Fujifilm X-T5 & Japan Factory Tour
This video is a bit different to the usual camera chat because it’s as much about the experience as it is about the kit. I was invited to Tokyo, Japan for Fujifilm’s X-Summit around the launch of the Fujifilm X-T5, and during the trip I started shooting with the camera for the first time.
Alongside sharing my first images with the X-T5, I was also lucky enough to visit the Fujifilm factory in Sendai. It’s a behind-the-scenes look at the people and processes that actually make these cameras happen, from the factory floor through to the engineers and managers who keep everything moving. Seeing that side of it gives you a slightly different appreciation for the kit we all obsess over.
If you’re interested in the X-T5, you’ll get a feel for my early impressions through the images. And if you’re interested in Fujifilm as a company, the factory visit is the sort of thing most of us never get to see, so I wanted to document it properly.
