Who These Sessions Are For

There are many reasons you might choose to have studio portraits taken.

For some, it’s about work. You might need a strong headshot for your business, your website, LinkedIn, Spotlight, or social media. Perhaps you’re an actor updating your portfolio, a creative refreshing your personal brand, or simply someone who wants to look professional without appearing stiff or overly corporate.

Sometimes it’s much more personal than that. A portrait session can be about capturing you as you are right now, or marking a particular chapter in life. That might mean family portraits, a couple shoot, or simply a set of images for yourself.

What’s Included

Studio Photoshoot & Fully Retouched Images - £250

Your session includes plenty of time to settle in and feel comfortable in front of the camera. There is no stopwatch running and no pressure to rush. Most shoots last somewhere between one and two hours, depending on what you need and how many different looks we decide to work through.

You are welcome to bring multiple outfit options, and we can change backdrops during the session if that helps create more variety. Some people want a straightforward set of headshots. Others need a wider mix of half-length portraits, full-length images and seated shots. The session is flexible enough to cover all of that.

A typical shoot results in between 10 and 20 fully retouched images.

The aim is not to overwhelm you with hundreds of near-identical files, but to give you a strong set of finished photographs that feel natural, useful and properly polished.

Every selected image is prepared with care and delivered in both colour and monochrome in my signature filmic style.

Every selected image is delivered twice: once in colour and once in monochrome, both edited in my signature filmic style.

It gives you more flexibility: colour often works beautifully for websites, LinkedIn, business use and general sharing.

Monochrome offers something different: a more timeless, filmic finish that many clients love just as much.

That might be actor headshots, business branding, personal portraits, or something a little more expressive. The session is flexible, so there is no need to worry about fitting yourself into a rigid format.

If you already know what you want, simply choose your date and time below. If you are not completely sure yet, that is fine too. Most people arrive with a rough idea rather than a detailed plan, and we work it out together.

What to Expect

You do not need to know how to pose, and you do not need to arrive with everything already worked out. Most people are not especially comfortable in front of a camera at first, and that is completely normal.

My job is to make the session feel relaxed and straightforward, and to guide you just enough that the photographs feel natural rather than forced.

We can keep things simple and classic, or explore something with a bit more personality, depending on what you want from the shoot.

Some people come in needing practical headshots for work or casting. Others want portraits that feel a little more personal. Either way, the aim is the same - to create photographs that feel honest, well-made and genuinely useful.

There is no rush during the session, which makes a real difference. Once people settle into it a little, the best photographs usually start to happen quite naturally.
