Borough Market & Tower Bridge offers one of those very London combinations - atmosphere, pace, and then suddenly a pocket of calm when you least expect it. You’ve got the bustle and characters of Borough Market, the constant movement around London Bridge, then a shift into tighter City lanes where light and shadow do a lot of the heavy lifting. As you drift towards St Dunstan in the East and Tower Bridge, the scenes open up again and you get that mix of iconic landmarks and everyday life carrying on around them.
This workshop is about learning to work confidently in busy spaces without rushing. We’ll move through the route with simple exercises designed to help you spot moments, build layers, and react quickly when things align. Expect crowds, strong graphic backgrounds, reflections, little gestures, and plenty of chances to practise light, composition, and timing in a way that still feels calm and intentional.

Discover Street Photography from Borough Market to Tower Bridge
This route is one of those classic London walks that gives you everything in a few hours. The chaos and character of Borough Market, the rush and crossings around London Bridge, then that sudden switch into the City, where the streets get tighter, darker, and more graphic.
You’ll get layers, reflections, pockets of hard light, tourists doing tourist things, commuters doing commuter things, and those quieter moments that sit just outside the obvious.
It’s a brilliant route for learning how to make honest images in busy places without feeling like you’re constantly chasing your tail.
Learn to See Differently
We’ll work through practical exercises as we go, so it’s not just “walk and hope”. The aim is to help you react more instinctively, shoot with vision, and come away with a set of images that feel connected.
You’ll learn how to:
Photograph candidly and without hesitation
Use zone focusing to your advantage
Build simple themes and visual stories as you move
Understand your camera more fully, whatever brand or model you’re using
Get closer to the action and shoot without disrupting the scene
Whether you’re brand new to street photography or you’ve done plenty but feel a bit stuck, you’ll leave with a clearer way of working. And probably a few frames you didn’t expect to get.

About Kevin
I was one of the first Fujifilm X-Photographers in the UK and have spent many years shooting weddings and street photography exclusively with the Fujifilm X-Series. But you're welcome to bring any camera you like — this isn’t about gear, it’s about how you see.
Street photography has shaped how I shoot everything — including my wedding work — and I believe it's one of the best ways to build true storytelling ability through your lens.
