Learn to Get the Most Out of Your Fujifilm X100

Whether you’ve just unboxed the latest X100VI or have been using your trusty X100S for years, this hands-on workshop is designed to help you unlock the full potential of your Fujifilm X100 series camera.

We’ll cover everything from setup and key menu options to real-world shooting techniques — giving you both the technical understanding and the creative confidence to get more from this legendary camera.

Suitable for All X100 Models

This workshop is open to anyone using the X100, X100S, X100T, X100F, X100V or X100VI. If it says X100 on the top, you’re in the right place.

What You’ll Learn

We’ll begin in the studio with a focused look at:

  • Key menu settings and how to configure your X100 effectively

  • Understanding exposure: aperture, shutter speed, ISO and how they interact

  • Metering modes and how to use them with confidence

  • Film simulations and how to make the most of them in-camera

  • Custom functions and quick tips to speed up your shooting

Then, after a short coffee break, we’ll head out into Malmesbury to put it all into practice — walking, observing, and shooting with purpose.

Workshop Structure

  • 10:00 am – 12:00 pm: Studio session (menus, setup etc.)

  • 12:00 pm – 12:15 pm: Coffee break

  • 12:15 pm – 2:00 pm: Guided shooting session around Malmesbury

🟨 Please note: Lunch and refreshments are not included.

Why Malmesbury?

Malmesbury is a picturesque market town in the Cotswolds — full of beautiful textures, interesting people, and light-filled corners. It’s the perfect place to practise street-style and environmental photography with your X100 in hand.

Who This Workshop is For

This session is ideal if:

  • You’ve just bought an X100 and want to get up to speed quickly

  • You’ve had one for a while but still feel like you’re not using it to its full potential

  • You’re switching from another system and want to understand how Fuji does things differently

You’ll need a basic understanding of your camera (or be comfortable picking it up on the day), but the session is suitable for both beginners and experienced shooters who want to refine their setup and shooting process.

About Kevin

I’ve used every version of the Fujifilm X100 since the original launched over a decade ago. I know this camera inside out — not just technically, but in how it behaves in the real world, under pressure, in fast-moving environments and quiet moments alike.

This workshop is based on that real-world experience — not specs or theory, but practical knowledge that helps you shoot better, faster, and with more purpose.

Final Call to Action

Ready to master your X100?
Join me in Malmesbury for a small-group session that will help you truly understand and enjoy one of the best cameras ever made.
