I’m delighted to show you Sarah & Alison’s Wedding Photos from Pembroke Lodge, Richmond. It was a marriage that I photographed last May which means, it was one of the very first same sex marriage’s allowed in the UK under the new constitution.
I’ve shot several Civil Partnerships but this was my first official marriage and what a day it turned out to be.
Sarah & Alison had been referred to me from previous clients and it was lovely to see both Bryoni and Di again at this wedding.
And, to complete the “steps-of-separation” I met Bryoni and Di during my rugby playing days and as such, Sarah and Alison’s wedding was a very rugby orientated one too.
I started the day with both brides at Richmond Hill Hotel while they did their final preparations for the wedding.
After that, I headed into Richmond Park around the corner and over to Pembroke Lodge where guests and family were waiting.
It can be a little crowded coming down the aisle and as the these wedding photos from Pembroke Lodge show, this wedding was no exception. I actually really like that – it makes it fun and the “mele” at the end with all the phone cameras etc. adds to the dynamism of the moment I think.
Once the tear filled ceremony was completed, there was time out on the balcony for drinks and canapés before heading inside for some speeches, magic and the wedding breakfast.
It was really lovely to see all the friends and family embrace the wedding and I think Sarah & Alison’s Wedding Photos from Pembroke Lodge really show how much love and support there was from family and friends who had arrived from all over the world.
Here are few of my favourite wedding photos from Pembroke Lodge wedding of Sarah and Alison.
