Wedding Photography Blog

wedding photography blog

Welcome to my Wedding Photography Blog.

I’ve been photographing weddings professionally since 2008.

In that time, I’ve shot over 450 weddings and many of them are featured on this blog.

In my time, I’m extremely proud of the fact that I have become the first Wedding Photography ambassador for Fujifilm, have spoken and trained other photographers as far afield as Tokyo, Buenos Aires and Philadelphia and have had a monthly column running consecutively for three years in the industry magazine Professional Photographer.

Of course, none of that should mean zip to you, as a client.

The only thing that should matter is whether you like my photographs.

I do & I hope you do too.

Please take a long look around the wedding photography blog.

Start with the most recent is my advice, and dig in.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss your wedding photography, please don’t hesitate to contact me at any time.

And don’t forget to check out my Instagram page where I share many more candid wedding photos.

  • Pembroke Lodge Wedding Photographer

Kate and Edward asked me to be their Pembroke Lodge Wedding Photographer sometime ago, but it seemed like time just flew by before the wedding came along.  Pembroke Lodge is in the heart of Richmond Park, South West London and it is a truly marvellous wedding venue.  And this was a truly marvellous wedding. As a documentary wedding photographer…

  • Civil Partnership Photography at Orleans House Gallery

I’ve known Bryoni and Dianne for quite a few years and I was delighted when they asked me to photograph their civil partnership at The Orleans House Gallery in Twickenham.  There were many familiar faces at the celebration and I could tell it was going to be a very lively and fun day. The ceremony…

  • Stanton Manor Wedding

Nicola and James approached me earlier in the year to see if I could document their Stanton Manor Wedding in late August.  As I write this blog post in deepest December, thinking back to the glorious summer we had……. sorry, scratch that, the weather, actually, on the day Nicola and James got married was very…

  • Winkworth Farm Wedding

Hannah and Daniel are the first of my clients to have a Winkworth Farm Wedding.  Winkworth Farm, is a new wedding venue, in Lea, Wiltshire.  Its very close to my hometown of Malmesbury, and it was, in fact, at the wonderful Malmesbury Abbey where they had their wedding ceremony. After editing the wedding photos, I noticed…

  • Sedgebrook Hall Wedding Photography

As with many of my wedding photography clients, I didn’t actually meet Lauren and Mark until their wedding day earlier this year in mid-August.  Lauren had contacted me around eighteen months ago with a view to having a documentary wedding photographer specifically for her special day.  When I first met Lauren and her family during…

  • Gloucestershire Wedding Photographer

Julie and Ben commissioned me to be their wedding photographer earlier in the year.  To say their wedding was magical, would be an understatement. The weather, the location, the planning, the atmosphere all fell into place on their very special day.  The wedding was held in the gardens of the family home and was a veritable feast of…

  • Weddings at The Savoy and Claridge’s London

Weddings at the Savoy and Claridge’s London can only be very classy affairs – and this wedding, in July, was no exception. Kavita and Anthony asked me to document their wedding, pictorially, starting out at The Savoy Hotel, and them, moving on for a private dining celebration at Gordon Ramsay’s at Claridge’s. The majority of…

  • Cotswolds Weddings

Being based on the North Wiltshire Gloucestershire border means I often find myself photographing beautiful Cotswolds Weddings – and this was no exception. Richard and Kate were married at the increasingly popular Cripps Barn (I’m there again this weekend in fact).  It was a late booking for a stunning midweek wedding with their friends and…

  • The Great Barn Devon Wedding Photographer

The Great Barn, Higher Ashton, Devon was the venue for the first of my July weddings this year.  Kate and Peter had commissioned me to document their wedding some time ago but it was to be another new venue for me. The Great Barn Devon is a fairly new wedding venue – and what a…

  • The Rectory Crudwell Weddings

Rectory Crudwell Weddings always bring back happy memories of clients (past, and hopefully future) having a wonderful wedding day in one of the loveliest hotels that Wiltshire has to offer.  Helen and TJ were married at All Saint’s church just next door on a “changeable” day weather wise back in June. The wedding coincided with the…
