Wedding Photography Blog

wedding photography blog

Welcome to my Wedding Photography Blog.

I’ve been photographing weddings professionally since 2008.

In that time, I’ve shot over 450 weddings and many of them are featured on this blog.

In my time, I’m extremely proud of the fact that I have become the first Wedding Photography ambassador for Fujifilm, have spoken and trained other photographers as far afield as Tokyo, Buenos Aires and Philadelphia and have had a monthly column running consecutively for three years in the industry magazine Professional Photographer.

Of course, none of that should mean zip to you, as a client.

The only thing that should matter is whether you like my photographs.

I do & I hope you do too.

Please take a long look around the wedding photography blog.

Start with the most recent is my advice, and dig in.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss your wedding photography, please don’t hesitate to contact me at any time.

And don’t forget to check out my Instagram page where I share many more candid wedding photos.

  • Penshurst Place Wedding

In May I travelled to Kent to photograph the Penshurst Place Wedding of Su and Simon.  Now, I have to tell you something about Su and Simon:  A more clearly in love couple I think you’ll find it difficult to meet.  They were so “into” each other throughout the day it is clear they are…

  • Weddings at Manor House Hotel

Weddings at Manor House Hotel, Castle Combe here in Wiltshire are always ones I look forward to photographing for a couple of reasons.  It’s local for a start, but mostly because its a wonderful wonderful old wedding venue surrounded by stunning gardens and greenery in one of the most idyllic little villages in Wiltshire.  What more could…

  • Clearwell Castle Wedding Photography

Clearwell Castle Wedding Photography in May for Zoe and Mark.  They had approached me a while back about photographing their wedding in the relaxed and unobtrusive way wedding photojournalists like myself work.  Clearwell Castle, though relatively close, and a relatively popular wedding venue is one that I had never worked at before so it was lovely to get an…

  • Weddings at St Pancras Renaissance London

Weddings at St Pancras Renaissance London – wow!  That’s pretty much all I can say to explain Marianna and Adrian’s wonderful wedding here in April.  The St Pancras Renaissance London is really a marvel amongst many of the London Wedding Venues.  I had never photographed a wedding here before but the timing of it couldn’t have been…

  • Wedding Speeches: Image of the Week #18

  • Wedding Photography at Kingscote Barn, Gloucestershire

The end of March saw me photographing my first wedding of the year at The Kingscote Barn, Gloucestershire.  It’s a venue I am very familiar with and whilst I have shot there many time, wedding photography at Kingscote Barn always yields new and visually different images for each wedding I shoot there. Sarah and Joel…

  • Haymarket Hotel London Wedding

I had a call a few months back from Jane who was looking for a wedding photographer for her Haymarket Hotel London Wedding in March this year. I was only required to photograph for a few hours during the day, but during my short time at the wedding I could really get a vibe from…

  • Rivervale Barn Wedding Photography

Jo and Jason’s Rivervale Barn Wedding was earlier in the year and, considering it was February, the weather was brilliant throughout the day. I’d met Jo and Jason at Emma and Darren’s Botleys Mansion wedding late last year and was delighted when they asked me to be their wedding photographer.  A genuinely lovely couple, with romance…

  • The Olde Bell Hurley Wedding

Sorcha and Graham approached me last year to photograph their Berkshire Wedding in early 2012.  It turned out that The Olde Bell Hurley wedding was to be my first one of 2012.  I hadn’t met Sorcha or Graham before the big day but I was welcomed warmly upon seeing them at The Olde Bell. The…
