Wedding Photography Blog

wedding photography blog

Welcome to my Wedding Photography Blog.

I’ve been photographing weddings professionally since 2008.

In that time, I’ve shot over 450 weddings and many of them are featured on this blog.

In my time, I’m extremely proud of the fact that I have become the first Wedding Photography ambassador for Fujifilm, have spoken and trained other photographers as far afield as Tokyo, Buenos Aires and Philadelphia and have had a monthly column running consecutively for three years in the industry magazine Professional Photographer.

Of course, none of that should mean zip to you, as a client.

The only thing that should matter is whether you like my photographs.

I do & I hope you do too.

Please take a long look around the wedding photography blog.

Start with the most recent is my advice, and dig in.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss your wedding photography, please don’t hesitate to contact me at any time.

And don’t forget to check out my Instagram page where I share many more candid wedding photos.

  • Wedding Photographer Hungerford

Wedding Photographer Hungerford:  It’s November now and I’m slowly catching up with my wedding blogs.  It’s been a pretty hectic summer and there is little slow down to be honest as I’m full on into wedding album design season.  All good fun of course.  So, I’ll whip us back to the end of June and…

  • The Four Seasons Hampshire Wedding Photography

Aimee and Benjamin booked me for their Four Seasons Hampshire Wedding Photography last year during a brief visit to Malmesbury.  An absolutely delightful couple, with infectious smiles, warm personalities and quite simply a love and understanding of each other that was so obvious to see during the short time that I was with them. I began…

  • Weddings at Postlip Barn

Weddings at Postlip Barn are always fun to photograph.  I know this, as I’ve been there a few times now.  Postlip Barn is the working Tithe barn of the community at Postlip Hall, which is a community of eight families working and living together in a large Cotswolds Manor house.  Pete and Nikki had approached me…

  • West Midlands Wedding Photographer

Back in June I headed up the M5 to the West Midlands for Annabel and Richard’s wedding.  Annabel had approached me many month before hand when she was looking for a West Midlands wedding photographer.  Understanding my approach to wedding photography she booked the day and it was a simple case of waiting for it…

  • Rectory Hotel Wedding Photography

The Rectory Hotel Wedding Photography:  I’m used to The Rectory Hotel, having shot there on several previous occasions.  The Rectory Hotel is a gorgeous Cotswolds hotel located a few miles from my home in the village of Crudwell. Jez and Geri commissioned me to photograph their wedding here around eighteen months beforehand.  As with many weddings…

  • Lime Wood Wedding

Tolly and Frazer commissioned me to shoot their Lime Wood Wedding a little earlier in the year.  A wonderfully relaxed affair with all the elegance and perfection you would expect from a wedding at one of the UK’s premier wedding venues. The day commenced, as often is the case, with some bridal preparation photography.  Sadly, the weather was appalling…

  • Wedding at The Barn at Berkeley

It’s been an incredibly busy summer so time to catch up with some wedding photography blogging. I met Ed and Hannah what seems like a couple of years ago now to discuss their wedding at The Barn at Berkeley in Gloucestershire this June.  A really lovely couple, who, by the time I got to shoot…

  • Charlton Wedding Photographer

I met Sarah and David well over a year ago when they were looking for a Charlton Wedding Photographer to shoot the wedding they had just started planning.  Charlton is a lovely little village very close to where I live, made more famous recently, by the brilliant WOMAD festival that takes place there every summer. When…

  • The Hare and Hounds Wedding

The end of May saw me shooting at The Hare and Hounds, Westonbirt twice.  The Hare and Hounds Wedding of Claire and Ross in this post was actually first, followed a couple of days later by Nicolas and Emilie’s French Wedding a few days later.  I remember the weekend well of course, because it was so…

  • Weddings at The Hare and Hounds Westonbirt

Weddings at The Hare and Hounds Westonbirt: The end of May saw me photographing weddings twice at the gorgeous Gloucestershire hotel The Hare and Hounds and it happened to be on the most balmy weekend we’ve had here in the UK weather wise. I’m fairly sure since then it has just rained and rained. Emilie…
