Wedding Photography Blog

wedding photography blog

This is my wedding photography blog section.

I’ve been photographing weddings professionally since 2008.

In that time I’ve shot almost 500 weddings, many of which are featured in this wedding photography blog.

I’m a full time wedding photographer, meaning this is my job – I’m not a part time photographer who has another job so you can be sure I give all my clients 100% of my attention.

You’ll find some of my local weddings here in Wiltshire and a wedding inside the arctic circle.

Also, weddings I’ve photographed as far afield as the U.S.A and many weddings from all corners of the UK as well as Europe.

I’m extremely proud of the fact that I have become the first Wedding Photography ambassador for Fujifilm

I’ve spoken at conventions and trained other photographers as far afield as Tokyo, Buenos Aires and Philadelphia.

I’ve even had a monthly column running consecutively for three years in the industry magazine Professional Photographer.

I’ve even had my wedding photographs exhibited in Tokyo and the Czech Art Foundation in Prague.

Of course, none of that should mean anything to you, as a bride and groom.

The only thing that should matter is whether you like my photographs, and you can see a lot on this wedding photography blog.

I do & I hope you do too.

I am commissioned mostly for weddings in the UK, but also right across Europe and beyond.

Please take a long look around the wedding photography blog.

Start with the most recent is my advice, and dig in.

Wellington Barn Wedding Photographer

Anna and Tim contacted me to be their Wellington Barn Wedding Photographer last year.  It was the first time I’d photographed at the barn, though I have a few more bookings there next year, and it was a wonderful experience – for, quite frankly, a very wonderful couple. Anna is Swedish, and Tim is, well, about…

So, as a Gloucestershire Reportage Wedding Photographer I was back at one of Gloucestershire’s most popular wedding venues, Cripps Barn for the reportage wedding photography of Steph and Matts wedding. Manor House Hotel Castle Combe Wedding Photography

Manor House Hotel, Castle Combe – though relatively local to me, is a wedding venue that could be a million miles away.  It’s in such a beautiful location, with stunning  and sumptuous views nestled in perhaps the most charming little village in England. Anja and Roland got married there in May.   It was small and intimate wedding, with…

Orchardleigh House Wedding Photographer

Orchardleigh House is another superb wedding venue in North Somerset.  Located just outside Frome, it even has its own parish church on site. James and Suzanne did not get married there, however, choosing instead the lovely nearby parish church of All Saints in Lullington. A traditional Charbanc bus ferried the guests between Orchardleigh House and…

Stephen and Sharanjit booked me to document their wedding…

Documentary Wedding Photography at Kingscote Barn

At the end of April I documented the wedding of Kayleigh and Tom at St John the Baptist Church, Kingscote Village followed by a ceremony at The Kingscote Barn. I have photographed weddings at The Kingscote Barn several times over the years and Kayleigh and Tom’s wedding, here in Gloucestershire was another beautiful wedding to document.

Wedding Photographers in Manchester

March saw me head up to Manchester for the wonderful boutique wedding of Katie and Nick at the Didsbury House Hotel.  I’d never been to Didsbury House before and I instantly loved it from a documentary wedding photographer’s point of view.  Discreet but with lots of charm the house welcomed and warmed to Nick and…

Early December last year and along with the arrival of some heavy snow here in the South West, came by busiest month for wedding photography of the year.  It started with the very cool wedding of Caroline and Stuart at Malmesbury Abbey, followed by a fun-fueled reception at The Old Bell, Malmesbury.  As I have…

November saw me photograph the most intimate wedding that I have done to date at Whatley Manor here in Gloucestershire.  Sarah and Mike had six guests at the wedding which was a delightful occasion.  As usual, Jo and her staff at Whatley provided the perfect setting for the wedding. The guests mingled with the Bride and…
