Way back on a gorgeous early July day last year I headed to the Wrest Park wedding of Louisa and Ian.
Let me tell you, that when Louisa first got in touch and mentioned she and Ian were getting married at Wrest Park in Bedfordshire I was extremely happy. Its an almost perfectly made wedding venue for a wedding photographer like me.
Its a superb wedding venue and full of not only amazing Grade 1 listed buildings but meandering gardens, fountains and lawns.
And it was a pretty much perfect day for Louisa and Ian’s wedding.
The weather was incredible, blue skies and fluffy white clouds.
Louisa and her wedding dress were simply amazing and the friends and family really were entering into the spirit of an English Summer Wedding.
The wedding ceremony took place in the resplendent Library before the guests and newly married Louisa and Ian spilled out on the terraces for drinks.
After, the party set out across the gardens and made their way to the The Orangery where the evening party games and celebrations took place.
Louisa and Ian’s Wrest Park Wedding really was a very gorgeous event and I hope you like looking through a small selection of my favourite wedding photographs from the day.

Black and White Wedding Photography
One of the questions I get asked a lot is; how much of your work is black and white? The answer is, on average, around 60-70% of a wedding is shot for black and white.
If colour is the prime feature of the image, then of course it will remain in colour.
