I’m taking you back to a wet and rainy December day for Helen and Lewis’ Upper Slaughter Wedding.
The preparation and reception (which I’ll cover in a separate blog post) were at the wonderful The Slaughters Manor House.
I caught up with Helen and her family as she was finishing the preparation part of her day before heading up the road to the quaint and equally as beautiful St Peter’s Church.
Once again, I find as a Documentary Wedding Photographer, I often in such a privileged place to witness the happiness and joy that unravels during a wedding day.
We just wanted to say a huge thank you for our wedding photos. We are absolutely thrilled with them and must have looked at them at least 20 times already. You have really captured the day just perfectly! I particularly liked the one of mum with the hairspray can! You obviously caught onto her rebellious streak quite quickly!!
Thanks again and have a great weekend
Helen and Lewis
Helen and Lewis’s Upper Slaughter Wedding was no exception and in fact, I’ve only included a small selection of the “hugs and love” images that they both received in copious amounts once they exited St. Peter’s.
Even though it was a wet day, that didn’t dampen any spirits and in fact, it was the complete opposite.
St. Peter’s is such a typical English Village Church that I’m very much looking forward to photographing another wedding I have booked there this summer.
I hope you like this small selection from their wedding day and I’ll be covering the rest of their day in another blog post.
So, what did you think of Helen and Lewis’s Upper Slaughter Wedding?
