The Swan at Shakespeare’s Globe Wedding of Patricia and Joe was a beautiful and very emotional one.
I started my day at Patricia’s parent’s house, which was a buzz of activity.
Once some very special gifts had been handed out and the hair and makeup completed I headed over to St Mary the Virgin Church in Shenfield.
Although it was windy, it was still a warm day.
Once the guests had taken their seats, there was time for a couple more tears from Patricia’s sister before heading down the aisle.
After the ceremony, the emotion continued and there were plenty of hugs and love from parents, grandparents and friends and family.
Thereafter, the guests jumped in a bus for the 45 minutes or so drive to the amazing Swan at Shakespeare’s Globe on London’s Southbank.
As a wedding photographer, I get to photograph in some amazing places and the Swan at Shakespeare’s Globe is no exception.
The Balcony Room, where the wedding breakfast was held, offers some of the most spectacular views of London – especially of St. Paul’s Cathedral.
The Swan at Shakespeare’s Globe Wedding – Some of my Favourite Stills
Once the wedding speeches were done, the wedding party settled down in the bar for an hour while the evening room was readied.
I left after the cake cutting and first dance, knowing there was a long and fun night ahead for Patricia and Joe.
Below is a selection of my favourite images from this lovely wedding. I hope you like them too.
