Way back…..oh, months now…. I was delighted to be able to head up to Suffolk to photograph the truly amazing wedding of Natalie & Andre.
A shortish coverage for me and a late start with the wedding in the late afternoon at Aldeburgh Church. I hadn’t met Natalie or Andre before the wedding and was delighted to find upon my arrival that this was going to be a truly multi-cultural wedding.
Andre and his family from Germany, Natalie and her family from Africa and guests and friends from all over the world including America and Australia to name but a few.
In honour of the great man Lou Reed; This was a “Perfect Day”. For me, as a documentary wedding photographer it had all the elements to bring together a great coverage. 100% candid photography, a bride and groom so much in love you could almost touch it and a set of friends and family that gathered to simply wallow in the emotion of the day.
Ceremony done, we headed over to The Yacht Club at Thorpeness by the Meare where an incredibly laid out marquee, drinks, food…more drinks…more food and lots of fun and dancing awaited.
This wedding has been brought to you with the words; smile, love and laughter….
Kind Words from Natalie & Andre
“My thanks too for these photos. They really are quite spectacle, exceeded our wildest hopes by a million miles and captured what is our enduring memory of the day: warmth – even in black and white. To have even one great photo of us is a wonder – we’ve broken lenses before. But to have so many is a complete treasure. We owe you the earth.” – Andre
