I can’t quite believe its been nine months since I shot this small Wedding at Burgh House, Hampstead.
Angela and Alan contacted me close to their wedding date. They were having a very small wedding at Burgh House, Hampstead.
Burgh House happened to be around the corner from their house so not only was it a lovely wedding venue for them, but also a very convenient one too.
In total, there was Alan and Angela, three adult guests and three children at the wedding.
Well, and me.
I’ve shot many small intimate weddings before. The least number of guests being one (me), but this wedding, though small, had all the hall-marks of a traditional happy and vibrant wedding.
When Angela contacted me and told me of this Small Wedding at Burgh House I wanted to shoot it straight away. I’d never been to Burgh House before and it was a wedding venue that I’d really been keen to shoot at.
We spent some time at Angela and Alan’s house before the very short walk to Burgh House itself. Through the lovely gardens and into the library for the short wedding service.
After, there was champagne, then home.
It was a really lovely, intimate occasion – only a few hours for me, but a really pleasurable few hours spent at Burgh House.
