Rivervale Barn Wedding Photography
Jo and Jason’s Rivervale Barn Wedding was earlier in the year and, considering it was February, the weather was brilliant throughout the day.
I’d met Jo and Jason at Emma and Darren’s Botleys Mansion wedding late last year and was delighted when they asked me to be their wedding photographer. A genuinely lovely couple, with romance and emotion rippling between them throughout the day. I spotted the glances that were passing between them during the ceremony on more than one occasion.
I had never photographed a Rivervale Barn Wedding before but found it to be a lovely venue hidden away in the Hampshire countryside. The barn has a delightful bridal cottage next door which is where Jo and her bridesmaids were busy getting ready when I arrived. Jason and his grooms men arrived shortly afterwards – accordingly “suited and booted” and the wedding day began in earnest once the first guests started arriving.
Jo looked absolutely stunning (of course) and I heard many gasps of admiration as she entered the ceremony room with her dad. The wedding ceremony itself was riddled with emotional incidents and there was a real air of love in the room from the guests toward the newly married couple.
The speeches; Well, what can I say? Funny (enormously), emotional, touching and engaging and after a lovely dinner the guests started dancing away as I departed into the night.
It was a really lovely wedding and Jo and Jason headed off for what can only be described as the adventure of a lifetime for their Honeymoon.
