I’m always keeping an eye out for mums and dads during the wedding ceremony.
If the angles work out, you can sometimes get a shot of proud parents (mum in this case) looking on as the wedding ceremony takes place.
I particularly love this picture as I could tell from the bridal prep time that Gemma’s mum was very excited about the day ahead.
Sometimes it just takes one moment, one look, perhaps even one motion of a smile for the happiness to shine through.
Gemma and Martins wedding, last November at Rivervale Barn was a really beautiful one.
Lot’s of love and lots of laughter throughout….just like every wedding should be.
As a wedding photographer, images like this really do make me smile. ¬†I don’t stage or direct any moments, and when I watch these delicate moments unfold, the ones that the bride and groom don’t witness themselves, I really want to record them in pictures.
I hope you love this picture as much as I do.
