Back in September I photographed the wedding of Jemma and Richard in Leominster.
The church ceremony was actually at the Priory Church in Leominster, before we all headed off to the family farm for a rather amazing wedding breakfast.
I’ll blog the whole wedding in due course, but I expect a few images from this wedding will make it onto the Why I Love this Picture series line-up.
There isn’t too much that needs to be said about this image in my eyes.
I distinctly remember smiling when I took the image, I also distinctly remember smiling when I downloaded the image and when I finally processed the image I smiled again.
Weddings should be a place of joy and this is such a simple picture, laced, perhaps, with an undercurrent of humour – but whatever you see in the picture, it epitomises everything that is the very essence of a traditional English summer wedding.
I love it & it makes me smile every time I look at it.
I hope you like it too.
