This is an image taken from a wedding I’m just about the complete the edit of.
I’d been watching people all day during this wedding, and I really want to capture an engagement between the granny and another family member.
As a documentary wedding photographer, this means I don’t contrive or stage any images. I have to wait, watch, and to a certain extent, hope too.
In this case, using the 56mm lens proved perfect for the photograph and I got just what I wanted.
What do you get when to cross granny, father of the bride and good old fashioned dose of laughter?
