Just because I love this part of the wedding.
I have to say, when the Confetti run is announced by the ushers I have to get myself a little psyched up for it.
Why? Well, because it’s often one of the most dynamic parts of the day and, depending on the clients and guests, can be quite a scrum.
At this point, I’ll always shoot with a wide prime & in this case I was using the very newly announced Fujifilm XF16mm F1.4 lens (which is perfect for these types of shots).
I always try and deliver images to my clients that are from the guests point of view, and because I don’t direct the confetti run, I often find myself right in there amongst the guests themselves.
I think this image is a perfect example of that and I really love the arms that coming from everywhere and I love the look of total happiness on Charlotte and Gwilym’s face.
