I photographed the Old Sorting Office Barnes Wedding of Heena and Olly back in April.
It was actually a two day event, with the Henna night being held a couple of days previously in Barnes.
The wedding day itself soon came, and the ceremony was held at Wimbledon Registry office before the Olly, Heena, their friend and family were shuttled off to The Old Sorting Office in Barnes.
I used to live around the corner from this venue, and didn’t even know it existed. I knew it was an art and cultural hub but I didn’t know there was weddings being held their regularly.
I was pleasantly surprised and the whole afternoon was very social, very laid back and very relaxing.
Once the improptu speeches were done, ther was the wedding breakfast followed by what I can only describe as a very energetic table football competition.
Thanks so much for these! There are some really brilliant shots! I’m really pleased that you’ve been able to achieve exactly the kind of style we were looking for. Several friends and relatives commented about how much they appreciated your very discreet approach on the day and it’s certainly made for great photos.Henena & Olly
Olly & Heena are a lovely couple, and I could tell they were going to be hitting that table football again and again throughout the evening.
Below is the wedding photofilm of Olly & Heena’s Old Sorting Office Barnes Wedding. Please turn up the sound and press play.
