Last October I drove up to Cleve Lodge in Nottingham to document the wedding of Amanda and Paul. Nottingham isn’t a place that I visit that often, but I will never forget it. Not only because of this wonderful wedding, but because of the thousands upon thousands of traffic cameras that seem to be at every turn in the city.
This was a very cool wedding; Amanda and her friends getting ready at home, with plenty of bubbly flowing followed by a lovely ceremony at the lodge. It was a genuinely fun wedding, and when I left, I could still hear the sounds of guests laughing and being merry as I passed the fourth traffic camera.
I had some lovely feedback from Amanda when she returned from her honeymoon to view the photographs:
Thank you so much for the photos, they are amazing! They are just what we wanted and as we sat and watched them last night it was like reliving the whole wedding day, it was great! It’s so lovely to be able to see what everyone else was doing and it looks like everyone enjoyed themselves!
We can’t thank you enough for your professionalism and friendliness that day and you made two people who hate having their photos taken relax totally and enjoy themselves without feeling the need to ‘pose’!
As usual, here are a brief selection of my favourites from the day.
