As with many of my wedding photography clients, I didn’t actually meet Lauren and Mark until their wedding day earlier this year in mid-August. Lauren had contacted me around eighteen months ago with a view to having a documentary wedding photographer specifically for her special day. When I first met Lauren and her family during the bridal preparation part of the day I immediately knew that the wedding was going to be a lot of fun.
The house was brimming with people busily readying themselves for the day ahead. Lauren, of course, looked stunning in her dress and her mum, dad and bridesmaids hurried around to make sure everything was just so. Once the bridal preparation was done, it was off to St. Edward’s Church in Kettering for the catholic wedding ceremony.
Mark of course, looked very dapper too, and a touch nervous as his bride walked down the aisle. I could see how totally in love with each other Mark and Lauren were throughout the ceremony as both of them couldn’t stop smiling at each other and you could really sense the joyousness of the occasion.
After the ceremony, I headed over to Sedgebrook Hall for the festivities…… and festivities they were too. Lauren and her mum listened to a very emotional speech by Lauren’s dad and Mark topped the speeches off with his own, very touching moments too. The dancing began….and it to the night the party continued.
Here are a couple of words from Lauren:
Oh Kevin it’s wonderful, I’ve just watched the slide show for the third time and i’m still tearing up. The music is such a lovely touch.Thank you so much, you’ve managed to capture so much from the day. We really can’t thank you enough. I can’t find a single one on here that I don’t like! It’s going to be so difficult choosing for the album. Just amazing!Thank you so much
Guests from the wedding can purchase prints online.
