Towards the end of last summer I headed over to Berkshire for the North Hidden Farm wedding of Matt & Emma.
Bridal prep took place at Emma’s mum’s house locally, before the relaxed ceremony at St.Thomas Church, Woolton Hill.
The weather had been a mixed bag early on, but the summer sunshine started to break through before the ceremony and pretty much, didn’t leave again until way into the evening.
North Hidden Farm is, well, quite hidden, and its a wedding venue that allows the couples to put that very personal touch on everything.
I know that Emma and Matt (and their families) worked tirelessly to decorate and prepare the venue before the wedding and when the guests arrived they soon settled in to the surroundings, drinking beer and playing games on the grass verges.
The fun continued into the wedding breakfast and it wasn’t long before it was time for me leave.
It was a very colourful and vibrant wedding, and I remember noticing so much going on throughout the day.
Those splashes of colour were interspersed with lots of laughter, humour, delicate touches and most of all….smiles. Lots and lots of smiles and love.
As a wedding photographer shooting in a documentary style it really was a lovely style.
Emma and Matt and all their guests were so relaxed and I was able to just mingle and blend in, capturing those tiny moments that will be looked back on, and remembered, for many many years to come.
THANK YOU! For these! We do indeed love them, thank you.
I think most of all that the best thing is that they’re so interesting I can look at them time and again and always pick out ones I haven’t noticed before which is an absolute joy.
Thanks also for the beautiful wooden presentation box and the printed photos you did too. They’re lovely!
