Maryam and Daniel’s Wedding at St. Bartholomew’s Church
I first met Daniel and Maryam when they were guests at Will and Emily’s Manor House Hotel Wedding and it was a few years later that I ended up photographing their lovely wedding too.
I’m splitting this wedding into several parts, starting with the actual wedding at St. Bartholomew’s Church.
As you can see, there was not only much love, but lots of laughter, emotion and fun at the ceremony.
On this occasion, I did not shoot the bridal preparation for Maryam so the first time I saw her was when she walked down that amazing aisle at St. Bart’s.
Immediately before that, Daniel had been looking a little nervous, but as soon as he saw Maryam and her dad and their gorgeous little daughter coming down the aisle I could see him relax immediately.
Once the wedding ceremony was complete, Maryam and Daniel and their guests exited into the Spring sunshine before heading off to Eight Members’ Club Moorgate for the wedding reception (which will be on the blog next!).
I don’t say this lightly, when I say that Maryam and Daniel’s Wedding at St. Bartholomew’s Church was really very special. It’s an incredible church, steeped in history and perfect for discreet wedding photojournalists like myself.
Kind Words from Maryam & Daniel
“Oh my goodness, not sure how you managed to exceed already sky high expectations but you have and then some. We both absolutely adore these shots which made us laugh and cry in equal measure. Love that they tell the story and fill in the blanks in what was a whirlwind day and are proof that we had an absolute ball. Hard to pick a favourite but I am particularly in love with the one of Bella peering over the top of the table in the Vestry and the one of the three little flower girls. Dying to take another look at leisure. You are a genius and I am not using that lightly – love love love how real and uncontrived the whole portfolio is.” – Mayram and Daniel
