A wet and blustery February day saw me take the trip to London’s West End and The Law Society, to document Wendy and Ian’s wedding. Although the weather was a bit bleak, the atmosphere was brilliant all day. Wendy and Ian had a great time, and Wendy’s family who had flown in from Australia, were treated to a superb ceremony and reception at The Law Society.
Both Wendy and Ian are into “outdoor pursuits” and they had probably one of the most spectacular cakes I have ever seen. Couple that with a Wurlitzer duke box, an impromptu slide show of Wendy’s youth which had both Wendy and dad in tears. I left the guests partying late into the night.
As with Jess and Ed’s wedding, winter weddings can prove difficult for natural light photographers like myself. However, this was again another wedding where I managed to use just the ambient light available to me and no flash was used.
