Great news for those X-E2 Users out there who have been hankering over some of the great features in the X-T1. Fijifilm today released a full version update to the firmware for the X-E2
From the Fuji Site:
New firmware for X-E2 enhances performance, functions and the Real Time Viewfinder.
Firmware version 2.00 for the Fujifilm X-E2 brings the camera more in-line with the X-T1 by improving the display lag on the EVF and allowing selectable colours for Focus Peak Highlighting.
As an X-E2 user myself, the addition of the ability to assign the “view mode” to a function button is a huge step forward. Fuji had a lot of feedback from photographers about the decision to remove the View Mode button from the X-E2 and it’s a sign of a great company that they are listening to us and making amendments to the camera to support our requirements.
