I want to help you, if I can.  If you have already read the bit about me and possibly my notes on Documentary Wedding Photography and also scoured my Wedding Photography Portfolio then you should have a very good idea bout my style of wedding photography by now.

And don’t forget to check out the blog – there are hundreds of past weddings there for you to take a look at.

You will hopefully realise that my style of wedding photography is very different from the hundreds of other photographers out there.  If you want wedding photos are driven by natural, emotion filled moments then please read on.

I’m hoping then, that you love:

  • Natural images
  • True Storytelling photography
  • Wedding photography that captures people, just being people
  • Emotion filled and humour driven photographs

So, if the following images make you smile (even just a little):

Child at Wedding
Happy Bride
Bridae and Groom Recessional

And you also love

As mentioned, I know that finding the perfect wedding photographer is often a challenge but please take a look at Rose and Edward’s wedding.  Go full scree and turn the music up.

You will hopefully be engrossed in my wedding photography style and you’ll see emotion, humour, love (lots of love), fun, use of natural light and a whole wedding story.

What you won’t see is a large group shot of all the guests in the shape of a heart.  Sorry about that.

Once you are done, click the “Time for a surprise” tab above the video.

I want to show you this Photofilm here as it explains quite a bit about the way I photograph weddings.

The photofilm is a commission I undertook to shoot a Caesarian Birth (don’t worry, it’s lovely, not graphic).

I take all the skills that are needed for this kind of shoot (silence, integrity, understanding of light, moment and the power of a picture) into my weddings too.

I hope you like this little surprise.

And if the following, fills you with dread:

  • Hundred’s of group shots
  • Photographs that are on a tilt
  • Being told to “look at the camera & smile”
  • Spending more time with the photographer than your guests

….then I think we are on the same page.

Once again, I know that finding the perfect wedding photographer is a real challenge for couples and hopefully this page has helped.

My style is totally natural.  You will be free to enjoy your day with your friends and family.  You will get timeless wedding photographs that you will want to look at with your children and your children’s children for many years to come.
