If you are visiting me, please read the following carefully…
Kevin Mullins Photography Studios is in the town centre of the Wiltshire town of Malmesbury.
Malmesbury lies approximately 15 miles west of Swindon on the B4040 and about 10 miles north of Junction 17 on the M4, via the A429. The map above shows the location of my office.
Please note: If you are coming to the office for all-day training, I strongly suggest using the long stay car park detailed below, otherwise please use the short stay car park which is less than one minutes walk away.
Cross Hayes Short Stay Car Park (satnav postcode: SN16 9BZ):
As you come into the town, you will drive up the High Street and past the Old Bear House on your left. You may be lucky enough to find a parking space there. During the working week, parking is limited to an hour.
If you can’t park in the High Street turn right at the top of it onto Oxford Street. Turn right again at the end then a little way along you’ll see Cross Hayes car park on your right. This is a pay and display car park and the price is £1.20 for two hours. You can return to the car after two hours to pay for a further two hours. Or you can pay using your mobile phone with the number provided on the pay and display meter.
Exit the car park on foot at the South end (the opposite end of the Town Hall) and walk onto the High Street. Cross over the high street and walk down the hill approximately 30 yards. You will see Strakers Estate Agents and at that point, you can enter the Old Bear House Mews (it has a large Yellow Wooden front gate, that is probably open). My office is Unit 3, at the end on the left-hand side.
Station Road Long Stay Car Park (satnav postcode: SN16 9JT):
As you come to the top of the High Street turn left at the Market Cross. Follow the road right (careful — use the mirror) round the foot of St Paul’s Tower. There are a few parking spaces on the right as you approach the Old Bell Hotel and pass Malmesbury Abbey. If there’s nothing there, then follow the road left down Abbey Row to the junction at The Triangle. Turn right and go down the hill to a mini-roundabout. Straight on there. At the next roundabout (at The Co-Op supermarket) turn right. You’ll see the Fire and Ambulance Stations on your right and Ebley Tyres on your left.
This is Old Station Yard. Drive as far as you can down the road. At the end, turn right and right again into the car park.
The car park is £5.80 for eight hours.
You can follow the signs from the car park back into the town centre (simply cross the small footbridge and come up the Abbey Steps. At the top of the steps keep walking for about 50 meters and you will come out at the top of the High Street when the path ends. Follow the High Street down (on the right-hand side). You will pass a pub called The Kings Arms. Keep going and around 20 meters on you will see Strakers Estate Agents and at that point, you can enter the Old Bear House Mews (it has a large Yellow Wooden front gate, that is probably open). My office is Unit 3, at the end on the left-hand side.
