Classic First Dance – Why I love this picture

Classic First Dance

Fiona & Tom's amazing London Wedding

It was the end of a very cold December last year when I shot Fiona and Tom’s wedding in London.

They had wonderful ceremony at The Asylum followed a celebration at The Ivy House.

Both Fiona and Tom are actor’s, as were many of their friends and family.  Throughout the day one thing became abundantly clear to me though and that the affection between Fiona and Tom was absolutely very real and it was lovely to witness them enjoying their day.

I’ve selected this particular image today as I see it as a “classic” first dance shot but you can quite clearly see the love between the bride and groom.

They are totally in their own world, with the rest of the people merely watching from the sidelines.

It’s a classic picture for me – quite timeless, but it also has the added sparkle of the interaction between Fiona and Tom which I really love to see.

I hope you love this picture too.
