A few weeks back, I photographed the wedding of Pete and Lindsay in Cheltenham. It was a glorious day weather wise, and the wedding itself was just perfect too.
The ceremony was held at luxurious Queens Hotel in Royal Cheltenham Spa, with the rest of the festivities held at the wonderful Postlip Tithe Barn. Lindsay, Pete and their friends and family spent many hours decorating the barn themselves, including supplying several local ales on tap which pleased many of the guests (especially in this part of Gloucestershire 🙂 ).
Lindsay had mentioned to me in the pre-wedding meetings that her parents were part of a folk band. When, on the day, I found out that that band was the legendary 70s folk band Frogmorton I was a little star-struck throughout the day. This wonderful wedding was complete for me when Frogmorton themselves played a set to cover the first dance and to kick off the evening celebrations.
As always, here are a selection of my favourites from the day – all shot in a completely natural, non-intrusive photojournalist way.
