Ed and Ruth got married at Notley Tythe Barn in Buckinghamshire earlier this year. The wedding had been a couple of years in the making and did not fail on any account.
It was my first time at Notley Tythe Barn – which is situated in a lovely part of the Buckinghmshire countryside. A few photos of Ruth as her and her mother finished their preparations at a nearby hotel before I darted back to the barn itself. By this time, Ed and his groomsmen were welcome the rest of the friends and family.
The ceremony itself was lovely. Notley Tythe Barn is a very quaint, romantic and intimate setting for a wedding and it did not disappoint at all.
Ed and Ruth run a fantastic Ski and Snowboard business in Slovakia. You can check out their website – and if you are looking for somewhere slightly different this year for your winter holidays then give them a call. A couple of the nicest folks you could find and I’m sure you would be in wonderful hands over in Slovakia with them.
The weather turned against us in the afternoon but everybody moved inside to continue the party. A wonderful dinner, followed by some very touching speeches precluded an evening of fun and merriment all round.
A small selection of some of my favourites from the day below. If you would like to leave a comment, it would be appreciated and if you want to discuss your documentary wedding photography, perhaps at Notley Tythe Barn then please do get in touch.
