Two Day Asian Wedding Extravaganza
Amy & Seva ~ Cheltenham & London
This is the final blog post of the two day Asian Wedding Photography even I shot for Amy and Seva earlier this year.
As mentioned previously, I’d met Amy at her sister Kajal’s Asian Wedding Photography several years ago.
As a documentary wedding photographer, Asian weddings offer so much variety and opportunities to tell stories.
It was a privilege to be asked by Amy and her family to photograph her wedding and whilst I’ve shot several Indian Weddings before, I had never photographed a Sikh Wedding ceremony.
The Sikh wedding was so different to pretty much anything I’ve photographed before (notably the 5am start!), but something that I enjoyed immensely and look forward to hopefully shooting more Sikh weddings in the future.
If you have looked at the previous two blog posts then you may be interested in the stills I have chosen to show below.
Many of these stills are not in the wedding Photofilms and these represent some of my favourite images from the weddings.
For me, when I’m shooting, I’m looking for emotion, human interaction, humour and anything that essentially shows people, just being people.
Please take a look at the stills below, then, at the bottom of this page are the two Asian Wedding Photography Photofilms.
When you watch those, please turn the sound up and well, just sit back, relax and (hopefully) enjoy.
I’d love to know what you think so feel free to leave comments and it would be great for me if you feel inclined to share on Social Media, then please do so.
I AM SPEECHLESS. WOW WOW WOW. I am going to have to give you a call later, as I don’t feel I can say what I want to say on e-mail.
You amazing human being !!!!!! The funky photo film also….I am touched – thank you SO MUCH FOR EVEYRTHING. Absolutely thrilled.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! XXXXXXXX”
