Malmesbury Abbey
Malmesbury Abbey is a very popular wedding venue, and as Malmesbury is my hometown is somewhere I am very familiar with from a wedding photography perspective.
Malmesbury Abbey was first built in 676 by Aldhelm, with the current building dating from around the 12th Centuary.
One of the most notable features surviving from that period is the south porch with its magnificent Norman arch containing carvings depicting Bible stories. There is also a fine vaulted roof to the nave.
