Abbey House Gardens Malmesbury
The Abbey House Gardens Malmesbury is what I would call a “perfect wedding venue” – for lots of reasons. Its a wonderfully looked after 18th Centenary private residence situated right next to Malmesbury Abbey.
The Abbey House Gardens are run by world famous gardeners Barbara and Ian Pollard who have tended this beautiful building and the land around it since the early 1990′s. Malmesbury simply wouldn’t be Malmesbury without the “Naked Gardeners”. Wedding couples are very lucky that Barbara and Ian have opened up their wonderful abode to carter for weddings and large private parties.
Weddings can be held in The Belvedere which is a beautiful space for those wanting to really bring the gardens into the wedding. The Bower House which is an intimate and very romantic space for the couple wanting a small or garden wedding, the Bower House is almost hidden within the gardens. The Laburnum Tunnel for a truly summery al-fresco feel to your Wedding Reception you can enjoy the gardens under a marquee on the top lawn or in The Library, with its period charm and large stone mullion windows with spectacular views across the river gardens is the perfect setting for more formal or winter weddings.
The Abbey House Gardens are more than just a wedding venue.
