It was a fine summers day when I woke up on the day of Jacinta and Alec’s Wiltshire Wedding at Bremhill Manor last year. During the day, however, the heavens opened and it was more like a monsoon in November.
No matter, spirits were certainly not dampened and it was a lovely day for Jacinta and Alec and all their wedding guests and family.
My started with bridal prep for Jacinta and her friends at a nearby farm before heading back down the hill to the lovely little St. Martin’s Church in the village of Bremhill, Wiltshire where the piper piped in Jacinta and her extremely proud dad in for the wedding ceremony.
Once concluded we walked a few hundred yards across the field to Bremhill Manor and the marquee set out waiting for the guests. We had a little time before the rain came, but when it did, it did and it didn’t really stop for the rest of the day.
So, into the marque we went and speeches, followed by the wedding breakfast and the first dance were the order of the day. Jacinta’s father’s speech was both moving and very entertaining – a grand orator. Emotions were flying high during Alec’s speech and the three best men rounded it off with some very witty remarks and novel gifts for Alec!
The dancing began, and I took my leave; As I left this wonderful Wiltshire wedding Alec and Jacinta and their guests were ignoring the weather outside and bopping away merrily to the band on the dance floor.
As usual, here is a small selection of some of my favourite images for Alec and Jacinta’s Wiltshire Wedding at Bremhill Manor. Please feel free to share, and comment.
I hope you like them as much as I liked making them.
