Some recent work of mine. I hope you enjoy my photography.

Stanton Manor Wedding

Nicola and James approached me earlier in the year to see if I could document their Stanton Manor Wedding in late August.  As I write this blog post in deepest December, thinking back to the glorious summer we had……. sorry, scratch that, the weather, actually, on the day Nicola and James got married was very typical British Summer.  Showers, clouds and burst of sunshine.

It didn’t dampen the day though.  I started the bridal preparation photography with Nicola and her sister, before heading off to St. Cyriac’s Church in Lacock for the lovely ceremony.  If anybody knows Lackock in August, you will understand just how busy it is - completely saturated with tourists and holiday makers.  The service was followed by a quick trip out to Stanton Manor in Stanton St. Quintin for the reception.

Again, the weather was against us, but the venue is such that it makes no difference.  Lovely cubbey holed rooms and ancient fireplaces make a Stanton Manor Wedding special in all occasions.  After some canapes and highly entertaining speeches it was time for me to head off in the summer evening.

Nicola and James are a special couple.  Totally in love and totally beautiful as a couple.  As usual, a small selection of my favourite images from this Stanton Manor Wedding are below.  Please feel free to comment.

Guests at the wedding can purchase prints here.

I’ll wrap up this blog post with some words from Nicola:

Kevin – Thank you so much for our photographs – they are absolutely spectacular and capture our day exactly as we remember it. We are both so very grateful to you for agreeing to ‘document’ our wedding and could not be more pleased with the results. Our favourites include: James looking up just before I walk down the aisle, Natalia singing a hymn with flower girl Lily looking up at her, the one of Dolly my blind dog, Patrick (James Dad) carrying the train of my dress in the grounds of Stanton, the picture of my parents in the garden, the one of us kissing outside the church just after we got married, the one of Natalia hugging James outside the church…in fact, all of them!!
It’s really quite hard to get across how very pleased we are through email – the whole wedding surpassed our expectations (we had spent a long time together in the past thinking that we weren’t the marrying kind!!) and these photographs beautifully recall all the special moments of our day. We are very much enjoying married life and looking forward to all that the future has to hold – who knows, maybe sometime in the next year or so we might pop along to your studio with a little one!

Lovely work, Kevin. Love the grooms face. You should enter that one into a competition.
